Vehicle interior and equipment

What should you identify before requesting a vehicle?
Start with the place where the deceased is being held and the place where you want the handover to take place. For a hospital or other institution, give its name as well as the city. At the receiving end, distinguish the intended cemetery or other agreed address from the wider town or region.
These details help frame a practical conversation about transport. If you are speaking on behalf of a family, explain which arrangements have already been made and which still need discussion. A named contact at either end can help clarify the handover request without relying on a city name alone.
How do specialist vehicles support repatriation?
Fenjer Bestattung has purpose-built funeral vehicles with professional equipment and ventilation for international transport. The service covers repatriation from Europe to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Slovenia. The vehicle request should therefore be discussed together with the actual collection location and the intended recipient.
Families and professional funeral teams may approach the same journey with different information. A relative may know the burial town but not the collecting institution’s contact person; a funeral director may already have those details. Tell us what you know so the remaining questions can be identified during the conversation.
Which choices belong to the family?
The wooden coffin model is selected by the family and prices start at €320. When discussing that choice, distinguish the coffin itself from any additional funeral items you would like. This keeps personal wishes clear alongside the collection and reception arrangements.
Fenjer Bestattung does not charge separately for dressing the deceased. Coffin bedding, the grave marker and the marker on the coffin are included in the coffin or funeral-equipment price. Other preparation and optional items requested by the family must be confirmed separately.
How should refrigerated storage be discussed?
Refrigerated storage is available in Novi Sad, Belgrade and Kragujevac, by arrangement for the particular case. If arrival and burial are separate events, raise the possible need for storage when you enquire. A storage location and the final burial address are different pieces of information, even when both are in the same city.
Please ask about the arrangement needed rather than assuming that space is automatically reserved. Explain where the eventual handover is intended and whether the receiving organisation or family has settled those details. Storage is an optional service to discuss alongside transport, not a requirement for every repatriation.
